GRC Administrator and Developer (Python)We are seeking a GRC Administrator and Developer to join a collaborative team of IT professionals supporting enterprise governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing a web-based GRC platform, including administration, development, troubleshooting, and implementation of new functionality. The position involves working on development projects, testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with IT, cybersecurity, and audit teams.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary administrator and developer for the organization's GRC platform.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security and compliance requirements and design automation solutions.Lead automation initiatives for security accreditation processes, including workflow routing and evidence collection.Design and implement unified security control frameworks aligned with organizational standards and industry compliance frameworks.Develop and maintain Python-based API modules and automation scripts to support continuous monitoring and compliance updates.Integrate and manage structured data imports (JSON, CSV) and maintain centralized source control repositories and documentation.Work with RESTful APIs to automate data imports, exports, and reporting.Troubleshoot system issues and ensure timely resolution.Maintain system and project documentation.Coordinate with software vendors regarding issues, maintenance, and upgrades.Analyze incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective solutions.Participate in development lifecycle activities, including testing and implementation.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required Skills and QualificationsStrong experience in Python programmingExperience with API integrations and automation using RESTful servicesKnowledge of database design principlesBasic programming skills in Java or C#Familiarity with DevOps practices and risk management conceptsExperience working in Agile environmentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTop Skills SummaryPython programming – 2–3+ yearsAPI integration and automation – 1–2+ yearsAgile methodology experience – 1–2+ yearsRisk management knowledge – 1–2+ yearsDatabase design expertise – 2–3+ yearsGRC tool familiarity (preferred) – 1–2+ yearsPreferred SkillsExperience with automated testingFamiliarity with GRC toolsUnderstanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworksExperience with industry security frameworks
