Polisher (Part-Time)

About the role The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards by thoroughly polishing and cleaning all surfaces and utensils within the restaurant. Assist food servers with the serving of food, set‑up and clearing of china, glass, and silver from service. Prepare food and beverages as needed and transport items from bars and kitchen counters to guests as needed. Responsibilities Polish all glassware, silverware, and utensils to ensure they are spotless and free of smudges, stains, or watermarks. Stock and restock china, silver, and glassware for service and bar. Set up tables, stations, and counters as required for operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas, including removing debris, wiping down surfaces, and arranging furniture as needed. Fold napkins and linens as necessary. Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest’s needs before requests are necessary. Assist with guest service, including retrieving food from the kitchen and safely transporting it to the guest, as well as removing items from the guest’s table. Breakdown, clean, and set up tables, buffets, and food stations. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment for staff and guests. Communicate effectively with management and other team members to address any cleaning or maintenance issues promptly. Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the restaurant. Qualifications Minimum one-year food and beverage service or equivalent experience. Ability to balance and carry trays. Ability to multi‑task in a high volume and demanding environment. Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills. Valid U.S. work authorization.
