Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Weymouth, MA 02189 . This is a 3+ month contract-to-hire assignment and a great opportunity to start working with a leading healthcare organization.

Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Location: Weymouth, MA 02189
Float / Coverage Area: None
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Contract Length: 3+ months
Pay Range: $20.00-$23.00/hour*
Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Support patient flow throughout the Colonoscopy unit and assist with patient turnover in the recovery room.
• Monitor patients in the recovery room and obtain vital signs as required.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures and assist with medical tests.
• Perform room turnover and maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support efficient patient care and maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree in Medical Assisting or completion of a Medical Assistant certificate program preferred.
• License(s): None required
• Certification(s): Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification and BLS certification.
• Years of experience: 3+ years of clinical experience, including at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Strong communication and customer service skills, ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, teamwork, basic computer literacy, intermediate Excel skills, EMR/healthcare software, and medical terminology.
