Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Warehouse Clerk:

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas utilizing forklift, pallet jacks or other machinery

• Inspects equipment before use and reports malfunctions, repairs needed or concerns

• Maintain inventory of supplies. Rotate stock as required

• Attach identifying tags to pallets or mark them with identifying information

• Read work orders to receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or equipment needs

• Stack cargo in locations as required using forklifts, pallet jacks, or cargo boards

• Ensures that all equipment is in safe and operating status. Ensures that any issues are addressed and corrected in a timely manner

• Transport raw materials or inventory to workstations

• Complete paperwork as necessary and in a timely manner

• Prepares bills of lading or tickets for each shipment and checks and records all items loaded for shipment

• Posts shipments to customer orders and calculates balance yet to be shipped. Upon completion of shipment, closes out orders and forwards document to production planning and accounting departments

• Will investigate inventory discrepancies; will notify supervisor immediately

• Maintains other shipping records such as goods returned, returnable pallets, etc

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Forklift experience required

• Adhere to attendance policies

• Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Good judgment, discernment for safety, and attention to detail
