Senior Billing Specialist

Kforce's client, a growing organization in the construction industry located in the St. Louis, MO area, is seeking an experienced Senior Billing Specialist to support project-based invoicing and accounting operations within a construction-focused environment. This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing project-based billing processes. This role offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and additional employee programs. This is a business casual environment, with jeans allowed - must be presentable. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process project invoices
- Review contracts, change orders, and billing documentation
- Manage progress billing, retainage, and final billings
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate invoicing
- Resolve billing issues and maintain project records
- Support compliance documentation and job-cost adjustments
- 2+ years of billing or accounting experience
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Vista/Viewpoint experience a plus
