Senior Manager, Corporate Development

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities Develop and present corporate and portfolio strategy recommendations in collaboration with R&D, operations, finance, commercial, and executive leadership. Support program-level decision-making through strategic framing and rigorous analysis. Assess inbound and outbound partnering opportunities and lead diligence efforts. Develop and recommend potential deal structures, including key business and financial terms. Drive negotiations of term sheets and definitive agreements with senior leadership, legal, finance, and internal stakeholders. Coordinate with leadership and project teams to manage existing alliances and drive productive partner relationships. Contribute to investor-facing materials and messaging for corporate milestones and conferences. Qualifications/Skills Passionate about science, medicine, and business; intellectually curious. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD, or JD) strongly preferred. Typically 4+ years in investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, corporate development, business development, or biopharma strategy. Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Highly collaborative; builds trust across cross-functional teams. Strong business instincts; strategic and analytical thinking. Fluency in financial modeling, business analytics, and basic valuation methodologies. Facility with the language of science. Strong executive presence; outstanding written and verbal communication. Benefits/Compensation Salary range: $151,000–$196,000. Total rewards include 401(k), healthcare coverage, and ESPP.
