Responsibilities Assistant Logistics Coordinator (by clicking this link you are being referred to an external site that is not part of Panasonic) Meet the Recruiter: Amber Smallwood What You'll Get To Do: Daily Logistical Operation * Coordinates the international import and Export shipment and support the procurement, CRM Sales (SCM) teams in a prompt and effective manner include freight payment process * Supporting for Daily Logistical operation and coordination * Assisting of coordination and arrange the international IMP& EXP shipment. * Inquire and obtain appropriate documents for any incoming and outgoing shipments. * Support to Following up incoming shipment with Freight forwarder for any shipment in correspondence shipment needs * Support to Provide the import and shipping instruction to Customs broker/ freight forwarder with following up the Deliveries. * Corresponding with domestic transportation /Drayage company for deliveries Assist to Obtain the POD of the shipment when it needed. * Maintains control over air and ocean freight and brokerage charge and processing freight payment with accounting requirement (Cost Center, GL code) * Reviews and interpret shipping documents to ensure accordance with purchase order, products components, shipping incoterms. * Assisting of Logistics Coordinator on time delivery of goods to the customer, distribution warehouse by investigating resolving any detention issues. * Record keeping, Entering shipment information * progress sheets. * Following up incoming shipment with Freight forwarder for any shipment in correspondence shipment needs Qualifications What You'll Bring: Education and Experience * Preferably if Logistics related field work experience * Intermediate PC proficiency with MS Excel required * Proficiency in system software required (SAP preferred Group company using) Key Competencies * Ability to identify customer needs, monitor satisfaction and act as the voice of the customer * Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work independently * Ability to effectively communicate with business partners throughout the supply chain, including Customers, freight forwarder, trucking company and shipping company. * Logistics, and Factories * Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills Benefits & Perks - What's In It For You: Panasonic prioritizes total well-being and offers comprehensive benefits options to support physical, emotional, financial, social, and environmental health: * Health Benefits - Offering medical, dental, vision, prescription plans, plus Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account options. * Voluntary Benefits - Life, accident, critical illness, disability, legal, identity theft, and pet insurance. * Panasonic Retirement Savings & Investment Plan (PRSIP) - 401(k) plan with company matching contributions and immediate vesting. * Paid Time-Off Benefits - Vacation, holidays, personal days, sick leave, volunteer, and parental & caregiver leave. * Educational Assistance - Tuition reimbursement for job-related courses after six months of service. * Health Management and Wellbeing Programs -Lifestyle Spending Account, EAP, virtual health management, chronic condition, neurodiversity, tobacco cessation, substance abuse support, and life stage and fertility resources.
