Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that integrate understanding of co-occurring medical conditions, enabling personalized treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs, collaborating closely with medical staff and other health professionals.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies that encourage recovery and personal growth.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients on the interplay between mental health and physical conditions, promoting self-management and empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring ethical standards are upheld.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case conferences, contributing to interdisciplinary care planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who face complex challenges including but not limited to autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach recognizes the unique interactions of mental and physical health, and as such, you will be instrumental in driving patient-centered care that addresses their multifaceted needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Proven experience in providing mental health support to clients with co-occurring medical conditions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with patients and interdisciplinary team members.

• A strong ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all professional interactions.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit, thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years working in a mental health setting, particularly with patients dealing with chronic illness or integrated care environments.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices is highly desirable.

• Experience in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 120,000 to USD 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a generous sign-on bonus of USD 3,000. Our benefits package includes:
