Work Environment\n

This role is set within a remote work environment, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while providing care to clients. Our community health clinic focuses on creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, where teamwork and collaboration are paramount. While the standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, occasional evening hours may be required based on client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use issues, ensuring an accurate identification of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering clients to develop effective coping strategies, emotional regulation techniques, and relapse prevention skills.

• Actively coordinate care with members of the multidisciplinary team to create a holistic treatment approach, optimizing the overall care experience for clients.

• Engage in regular substance use monitoring and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to support clients in their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health challenges and substance use, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring all treatment progress and interventions are recorded appropriately.

• Participate in case conferences and ongoing staff training to enhance expertise in co-occurring disorder treatment methodologies.

You will primarily work with individuals facing the dual challenges of mental health and substance use disorders. This client population often experiences symptoms that complicate their recovery, and your role will be vital in guiding them through the complexities of their treatment. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies specific to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Demonstrated understanding of the interplay between mental health disorders and substance use, paired with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing clinical counseling or therapy services.
