Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Advanced Heart Failure UnitSentara Heart Hospital located on the Campus of Sentara Norfolk General in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse for the Advanced Heart Failure Unit!Location: Norfolk, VAWork Shift: First (Days)Overview:The Advanced Heart Failure Unit (AHFU) is a 24-bed high-acuity cardiac care unit specializing in the treatment of patients with severe heart failure, pre- and post-heart transplant care, and pulmonary hypertension. While Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) and transplant experience are not required, opportunities exist for nurses who are eager to expand their cardiac skill set in these areas.Clinical Environment & Equipment:Nurses work with advanced bedside monitoring systems and other high-tech equipment. For candidates with previous ICU experience, there are opportunities to titrate intravenous medications based on hemodynamic monitoring.Team Culture & Communication:The unit thrives on 24/7 consistent communication and intricate interdisciplinary teamwork.
