Radiology - X-Ray Tech

X-ray Technician

We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with inpatient and portable imaging, as well as in the operating room. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to learn pediatric and neonatal care.

Responsibilities

Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
Evaluate images for technical quality.
Float to different departments as needed.
Work with students and perform competency check-offs.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in a Level 1 trauma facility or 2-3 years in a large bed Level 2 trauma facility.
BLS and ARRT certification required.
Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT approved program.

Equipment and EMR

Experience with GE, Philips, and CareStream equipment.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC and Sectra.

Work Environment

This position requires the use of a mask fit and involves working various shifts. Candidates should be adaptable and ready to work in different settings as assigned.
