Production Coordinator — Folding Carton PackagingWe are seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support day-to-day production workflow in a folded carton packaging environment. This position works directly under the Production Manager and helps coordinate jobs from order entry and pre-production through manufacturing, finishing, quality checks, and shipment.The ideal candidate will have experience in folding cartons, packaging, print production, or a related manufacturing environment and be comfortable working closely with production, customer service, prepress, purchasing, shipping, and management to keep jobs moving accurately and on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Production Manager with daily production coordination, job tracking, and schedule follow-upReview job tickets, production specifications, dielines, proofs, and customer requirements for accuracyCoordinate folded carton jobs through prepress, die cutting, folder gluing, finishing, hand assembly, packing, and shippingCommunicate job priorities, deadlines, and production updates to internal departmentsMonitor job status and help identify delays, material issues, quality concerns, or missing informationWork with Customer Service, Project Management, and Prepress to clarify specifications before jobs move into productionAssist with production scheduling, job sequencing, and workflow planningHelp ensure materials, dies, plates, proofs, cartons, inserts, and other job components are available when neededTrack changes, revisions, approvals, and special instructions throughout the production processSupport quality control by confirming jobs are produced according to customer specifications and internal standardsCommunicate with shipping and fulfillment teams to support on-time deliveryMaintain accurate records, job notes, production updates, and internal documentationParticipate in daily production meetings and provide updates on active jobsHelp troubleshoot production issues and escalate concerns to the Production Manager when neededSupport continuous improvement efforts related to workflow, communication, turnaround time, and production efficiencyRequired QualificationsExperience in print, packaging, folding carton, bindery, finishing, or manufacturing production coordinationStrong understanding of job tickets, production specifications, schedules, and deadlinesAbility to coordinate multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced production environmentStrong communication skills with production teams, customer service, management, and shippingHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and follow-up skillsAbility to identify potential issues and communicate them before they impact productionComfortable working on the production floor and in an office settingBasic computer skills and ability to update production systems, spreadsheets, or job tracking toolsReliable attendance and team-focused attitudePreferred QualificationsExperience in folded carton or paperboard packaging productionFamiliarity with die cutting, folder gluing, hand assembly, kitting, and specialty finishingAbility to read and understand dielines, proofs, layouts, and production specificationsExperience working with packaging substrates, coatings, adhesives, inserts, and finishing requirementsPrior experience supporting a Production Manager, Plant Manager, or Operations ManagerExperience with ERP, MIS, production scheduling, or print management systemsBilingual English/Spanish is a plusSkills & CompetenciesStrong organization and time managementClear communication and follow-throughProblem-solving mindsetAbility to work under deadlinesStrong attention to detailTeam-oriented approachSense of urgency and accountabilityAbility to balance customer requirements with production realitiesProfessional communication with internal teams and leadershipCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experience401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunity to grow within production, operations, or project managementScheduleFull-time positionDay shiftOvertime may be required based on production needs$25 - $30 an hour
