Account Manager (Medical/Pharmacy Rebates)

Job Purpose:

Ventegra is a fast paced, innovative virtual company. Medical Group Account Manager is a key position tasked with building and maintaining relationships with Ventegra’s clients. This position will be exposed to many functions and processes unique to Ventegra. This role acts as the primary point of contact for select clients, ensuring their business needs are met through relationship management, operational execution, and strategic collaboration. The Account Manager partners cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve issues, support implementation, lead business reviews, and assist in optimizing client outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

\n

Responsible for servicing accounts assigned to them, including but not limited to:

\n

\n
• Serves as primary contact for clients and key client personnel
\n
• Builds relationships with clients
\n
• Troubleshooting client issues by working with appropriate internal teams
\n
• Attend client benefit fairs and conferences
\n

\n

Assists in client implementation

\n

Responsible for ensuring business requirements are complete, including but not limited to:

\n

\n
• Preferred Products chosen
\n
• Data collection
\n
• Reporting
\n

\n

Prepare and lead business review meetings with client management team, including but not limited to:

\n

\n
• Prepare and understand utilization data reports
\n
• Prepare and understand prospective savings reports
\n
• Prepare and understand potential additional products to add
\n

\n

Responsible for storing and maintaining key client documentation and communication to be shared internallyacross departments

\n

Has knowledge of products and services provided to client

\n

Provides input on client goals and assists in pulling through solutions

\n

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Strong ability to organize and multi-task with an attention to detail
\n
• MS Office, specifically Excel and Word, skills strongly preferred
\n
• Ability to pivot quickly to adapt to changing environment
\n
• Ability to work independently yet be able to work cohesively within a team to achieve results
\n

Education and Experience:

\n

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
\n
• Account management experience preferred
\n
• PBM and Pharmacy experience preferred
\n

\n

\n
