About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intermediate care/progressive care/stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient assessments and care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
• Pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start, meeting strict passing criteria including 100% identification of lethal rhythms

• Active RN license required
• BLS certification - American Heart Association (AHA) only
• ACLS certification - American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Cardiac telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the submitted specialty
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

• Experience in a high-acuity progressive care or stepdown environment
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation, including heart blocks and complex arrhythmias
