Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Float Position in Johnson City, New York. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care across various medical-surgical units, ensuring patient safety and promoting optimal health outcomes. The registered nurse (RN) will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Johnson City, NY
• Shift: Rotating schedule, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call one day per week and every third weekend (Friday at 1630 to Monday at 0730).
• Schedule: 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Nursing (RN) experience of 3 years
  • Management experience of 0 to 3 years
  • Five plus (5+) years of direct nursing experience
  • Collaboration, communication (verbal & written), judgment/critical thinking, organizational understanding, planning, problem solving, quality, reliability, safety, and risk management skills
  • Current NYS RN License, BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC)

Additional Information:

• Must include RS cover sheet, resume, skills checklist, and copies of valid certificates/licenses in submission packets.
• Skills in EPIC and unit-specific certifications as listed in the compliance matrix are required.
• Must follow all United Health Services values.
• Will perform other duties as assigned, supporting patient-centered care and nursing standards.
