Job Summary

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a contract/temporary opportunity in San Juan, PR within the telecommunications services industry. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be an important first point of contact for future employees while representing the organization’s values and culture throughout the hiring process. You will support local and regional recruiting needs, assist hiring stakeholders with timely talent selection, and participate in projects that help improve the overall talent acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage recruitment activities for local and regional openings, including sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection support.
- Serve as the first point of contact for candidates and provide a professional, responsive, and engaging candidate experience.
- Conduct competency-based interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, role alignment, and cultural fit.
- Partner with hiring stakeholders to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and hiring timelines.
- Support continuous improvement projects related to talent acquisition processes, candidate engagement, and recruiting strategy.
- Represent organizational values throughout the recruitment process while helping identify strong talent for business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $24.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: San Juan, PR.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage recruiting activities for assigned openings from candidate outreach through selection support.
- Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and assess alignment with role requirements.
- Support hiring managers and stakeholders with recruitment coordination and hiring process updates.
- Contribute to talent acquisition process improvements and candidate experience initiatives.

- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, or a related field.
- Experience screening candidates, conducting interviews, or supporting hiring processes.
- Ability to communicate professionally with candidates, hiring stakeholders, and HR team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities.
- Knowledge of competency-based interviewing techniques or willingness to develop this skill.
- Positive, service-oriented approach with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to represent company culture and values throughout the recruitment process.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience recruiting for telecommunications, customer service, technical, sales, or operations roles.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruiting tools, or candidate databases.
- Experience supporting local or regional hiring initiatives.
- Interest in growing within talent acquisition, human resources, or staffing operations.
