Isotopic Dating Lab Technician & Mentor

The University of Vermont is seeking a Laboratory Technician to work in a National Science Foundation funded lab in Burlington, Vermont. Responsibilities include conducting chemical and physical mineral separations, supervising lab users, and mentoring visiting students. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Geoscience and at least 6 months of hands-on laboratory experience, particularly with hazardous materials. The position offers an anticipated pay range of $22.34 to $24 per hour and a 1.0 FTE contract with standard hours of 37.5 weekly.
