Step into a vital school-based role focused on fostering positive mental health for students across two educational sites in the Denver area. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs through the end of May 2027 and offers the unique chance to make a substantial impact on students from early childhood through high school, depending on assignment availability.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of school-based experience in psychology
• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Current CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
• Proficiency in student assessment, crisis intervention, and behavioral planning
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Skilled in collaborating with families, educators, and outside agencies
• Advanced computer technology skills
• Comfortable working with students and staff from diverse backgrounds

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct counseling to special education students, individually and in groups, based on IEP goals
• Develop intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and emotional support
• Conduct and document mental health services within general education settings
• Perform cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations and write comprehensive reports
• Support crisis management by conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in IEP and MTSS meetings, and consult with families and outside providers
• Present psychoeducation and professional development for staff, students, and families
• Complete background checks and fingerprinting for district compliance
