Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a dedicated school psychologist in the vibrant Denver area, supporting students’ academic and emotional success. Multiple coverage options are available, ranging from full-time roles at middle schools to part-time roles in elementary schools, with assignments spanning from several weeks to the end of the academic year. As part of a dynamic, onsite team, you’ll work closely with special education students, teachers, families, and external providers to ensure every child has the resources they need to thrive.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Valid CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
• Previous experience working as a school psychologist in a K–12 setting
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills
• Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively
• Excellent communication and collaborative teaming skills with diverse populations
• Proficiency with computer technology for documentation and assessments
• Successful completion of district-required background and fingerprint checks

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct group and individual counseling per IEP mental health goals
• Develop, implement, and document interventions addressing academic, social, and emotional needs
• Conduct risk and threat assessments, contributing to crisis intervention and management
• Evaluate students’ cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive skills and draft detailed reports and IEP goals
• Participate in IEP teams, MTSS, building meetings, and contribute to behavioral health initiatives
• Collaborate with families, staff, and community providers to address student needs
• Consult and provide professional development for staff on behavioral and mental health topics
