Overview
Registered Nurse - OR (Surgical Circulation + Recovery) in Fortuna, California. Travel - temporary assignment starting 09/21/2026 for Weeks in a rural hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,669 to $2,848 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 5x8 Days. This role covers General OR and PACU duties with endoscopy experience required; Epic charting is preferred.

Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: $2,669–$2,848 per week
- On-call and holidays: 2 days/week including holidays and weekends; 3 weekend 24-hour shifts per month; must work 3 of 5 listed holidays
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Setting and scope: Rural hospital general OR and PACU; endoscopy experience required; potential to float to nearby facilities
- Start date: 09/21/2026
- Charting: Epic preferred; healthcare team support includes Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary
- Schedule: 5x8 days; travel assignment with no guaranteed hours

Responsibilities
- Circulate in general OR and assist with PACU recovery for ambulatory and general surgical cases
- Monitor patient status intra- and post-operatively; respond to codes; manage cardiac monitoring as assigned
- Assist with endoscopy procedures and postoperative recovery; ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain sterile technique, prep rooms, and track instrument counts; operate electrosurgical units as needed
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical team, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
- Document perioperative care accurately; Epic charting preferred when applicable
- Support scheduling needs, on-call shifts, and adherence to facility-specific policies

Requirements
- Active RN license; compact license must be in-hand at submission
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Endoscopy experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Ep ic charting experience preferred; ability to use charting system as applicable
- Ability to work in General OR and PACU; willingness to float to nearby facilities as needed
- Willingness to meet on-call, weekend, and holiday scheduling requirements
- Local travel radius within approximately 50 miles of assignment location
