As an Associate at KDT, you will be responsible for assisting in the underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution for new financial investments in high-potential companies within our semiconductor and infrastructure theme.Our TeamKDT is the venture capital and growth equity arm of Koch, Inc., a large, privately owned business with significant capital strength and liquidity. KDT’s investment mandate is to originate and invest in promising entrepreneurs and disruptive technologies.What You Will DoBuild and maintain financial models to assess business performance, valuation, investment returns, and growth scenarios.Support strategic projects and special analyses that advance the firm's investment prioritiesContribute to the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence activities for potential equity investmentsPrepare presentations on potential transactions and investments for senior management that identify and assess valuation, return profile, competitive advantage, risks, etc.Perform industry and competitive analysis related to potential investments and markets of interestWork with current portfolio companies to enhance their performance alongside KDT’s Koch Labs capabilityEngage with industry-leading entrepreneurs and Koch executives Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)2+ years of experience building financial models and analyzing company financial performanceExperience in corporate business development, mergers & acquisitions, or related business investmentsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders and articulating a point of viewAbility to travel up to 20%What Will Put You AheadExperience working in the semiconductor industry OR a degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, or a similar sciences fieldExperience conducting investment due diligence and valuation analysisExperience conducting market or industry analysis and researchAn interest in underwriting semiconductor and infrastructure At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
