TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29406!

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: Advanced skills needed. Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. The unit has 30 beds, which will be fully opened in March/April. Currently operating with 18 beds due to renovations in progress. Patient ratios are 6-7:1. We utilize a team nursing approach with techs available on the unit. There are unit secretaries and techs on day shift. We strive to have a free Charge Nurse to support the team. Type of equipment is standard for Med Surg. Documentation system is Meditech. Scheduling requires working 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period. Floating to like units may be required as needs dictate. Hourly safety rounds must be performed along with bedside shift report with the patient. BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are required; these can be obtained prior to start. The dress code includes navy uniforms. Please attach unit-specific policies and guidelines. Aquatic activities like boat tours and kayak adventures are readily available.
