We believe that a supportive culture among colleagues leads to better care for our patients, and we constantly strive to create an engaging workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and challenges, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that align with individual rehabilitation goals.Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.Document all patient treatments meticulously, tracking progress, responses to therapy, and amending treatment goals based on individual patient needs.Adapt treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.Educate patients and their support systems on therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and home care strategies to promote adherence and independence.Maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuous education and participation in physical therapy seminars and workshops.Patient Population / Client FocusAt Ortho Check Physical Therapy, we serve a diverse population that includes children, adults, and seniors dealing with various physical conditions. Our focus is not limited to post-operative rehabilitation; we also help patients manage chronic conditions, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. Our approach is patient-centered, ensuring that each treatment plan is customized to meet the individual needs of our clients.QualificationsDoctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.At least two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, demonstrating knowledge of modern physical therapy practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and collaborate with colleagues.Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other technologies related to patient care.Preferred ExperienceExperience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation.Desire to mentor new graduates and share best practices within the team.Experience with manual therapy techniques, exercise therapy, and patient education regarding assistive devices.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, complemented by a robust benefits package.
