Matching passion with career growth, here hard work is rewarding. Essential Duties: This Respiratory Therapist PRN is responsible for patients with respiratory and respiratory-related equipment. The therapist assesses patient needs, instructs and troubleshoots equipment, and maintains documentation. Responsibilities: Receives and documents orders for respiratory equipment and services from customers, patients, caregivers, physicians, and family members. Collects additional information from insurance or physicians as needed. Assesses patient needs to determine appropriate respiratory therapy or services. Provides instruction and education on proper use and care of respiratory equipment to patients, families, and caregivers. Communicates changes in patient condition to physicians and adjusts the Plan of Care accordingly. Completes patient documentation, including the Plan of Care and assessments. Acts as a liaison between SuperCare Health, patients, families, caregivers, and physicians. Maintains professionalism, skills, and attitudes; follows all policies and procedures per JCAHO standards. Conducts follow-up visits and assists in continuity of care as needed. Provides 24/7 on-call service as scheduled. Sets up respiratory equipment within scheduled appointment times to ensure patient satisfaction. Supports marketing and other departments as necessary. Demonstrates courtesy, patience, and sincerity when dealing with patients. Supports the company's mission by being loyal and proactive in resolving issues. Remains current on all products and maintains a professional, safe, and clean work environment. Education and Experience: Graduate from an accredited RT program and licensed as an RCP. Experience as a Respiratory Therapist PRN preferred. Thorough knowledge of respiratory care. Excellent customer service and communication skills. People-oriented with a genuine desire to help others. Detail-oriented; able to lift up to 50 lbs. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of background checks, references, driving record (if applicable), and pre-employment tests.
