Digital Marketing Specialist

OVERVIEW: The Digital Marketing Specialist is an integral member of the MarineMax marketing team, responsible for online inventory management, videography, photography, and social media content creation. This hands-on role ensures our boats and yachts are professionally photographed, filmed, accurately represented online, and promoted through engaging digital content. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the digital presentation of new and pre-owned inventory, ensuring boats and yachts are professionally photographed, filmed, accurately represented, and published within established timelines. Maintain accurate and compelling online inventory listings, including descriptions, specifications, photography, video, and other digital content. Routinely audit online inventory to identify and correct missing, outdated, or inaccurate content and ensure vessels are properly staged and presented according to MarineMax brand standards. Coordinate with Sales, Inventory, and Marketing to prioritize new arrivals, featured models, and inventory requiring additional digital support. Produce and edit high-quality boat walkthroughs, inventory features, Reels, event recaps, lifestyle content, and other digital media. Capture professional photography and video for inventory, events, boat shows, Getaways!, deliveries, customer experiences, and other marketing initiatives. Manage and maintain an organized library of photo and video assets for ongoing marketing use. Manage the MarineMax location-specific organic social media presence and content calendar across relevant platforms. Create, schedule, and publish engaging photo and video content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and other applicable digital channels. Proactively identify opportunities for compelling content and stay current on social media trends, emerging formats, and industry best practices. Monitor social media and content performance and identify opportunities to increase reach, engagement, follower growth, and lead generation. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Inventory, Store Management, and other internal teams to develop content that supports inventory movement, brand awareness, and lead generation. Provide photo, video, and social media coverage for events, boat shows, store initiatives, and other marketing activities, including occasional evenings and weekends. Monitor OEM, competitor, and industry content to identify trends, creative opportunities, and ideas that can enhance MarineMax digital marketing efforts. Take ownership of assigned projects, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and complete work independently with minimal follow-up. Perform additional duties as assigned.

KEY SKILLS:

Experience in videography, photography, video editing, content creation, or social media management. Proficiency with professional camera equipment and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent. Drone license preferred. Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and short-form video. Strong visual eye and attention to detail, staging, composition, and brand presentation. Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and boat shows. Marine or boating experience is a plus. Portfolio or examples of previous photo, video, and social media work preferred.

KEY RESULTS:

Boats are fully online within 15 days of arrival, and yachts are fully online within 30 days of arrival. Online inventory listings feature professional, accurate, and well-staged photography, video, descriptions, and specifications that meet MarineMax brand standards. Consistently produce high-quality inventory, lifestyle, event, and short-form video and social media content to support marketing and inventory objectives.
