Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

Ultrasound Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM), Friday through Sunday. On-call rotation approximately every 5 weeks.

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. The position requires expertise in various ultrasound techniques, including obstetric and gynecologic imaging, as well as vascular studies.

Perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics.

Ensure proper patient preparation and comfort during procedures.

Utilize appropriate imaging techniques and equipment efficiently and safely.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to assess patient needs and outcomes.

Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.

Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience.

Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission.

ARDMS certification in relevant ultrasound specialties required.

Experience with Cerner documentation system preferred.
