About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for North America to join their team. This senior commercial leadership role is pivotal in defining and executing the North American commercial strategy across various business segments and customer groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team, driving business development activities, and personally managing strategic customer relationships. The role demands a strong background in automated storage systems, material handling, intralogistics, or industrial capital equipment, with a focus on consultative and project-based technical sales. The Vice President will also be expected to provide leadership for local finance and administrative functions, collaborate with engineering and operations teams, and represent the company at various industry events. Candidates for the Vice President of Sales position should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, with an MBA being preferred. A proven track record in sales leadership, a strong understanding of automation technologies, and experience in solution-based selling are essential. The role requires an individual with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on customer engagement. An entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership, and accountability, along with experience in international or European business environments, are highly desirable.
