About the Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 66-day assignment in New York, starting Aug 2, 2026. This role involves variable 12-hour shifts covering both nights and days, providing comprehensive emergency department care for pediatric and adult patients, collaborating with a physician and another advanced practice provider.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 12-hour emergency department coverage, including both day and night shifts.
• Manage a diverse patient population, encompassing both pediatric and adult cases.
• Collaborate with a single physician and another advanced practice provider (APP) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Contribute to the management of a daily census of approximately 73 patients, split across day and night shifts.

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine-Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine with Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine.
• EMR System: Allscripts.
