This mid-sized hospital provides inpatient surgical services with dedicated SICU capabilities and established protocols to support both routine and emergent surgical care. The facility operates on-site and maintains the resources necessary to support night shift surgical coverage across inpatient and OR settings. Clinical operations are structured to ensure quality surgical care for the community served.

The New York region offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore regional parks, recreational areas, and local amenities throughout the area. The region provides additional cultural options including arts venues, gardens, and family-friendly attractions.

The clinician will provide night shift general surgery coverage on a Sunday through Thursday schedule in an inpatient and OR setting. Primary responsibilities include assisting hospital residents in the SICU with central line placement, responding to rapid codes, and supporting surgical consults on the floor. First assist duties are not required for this assignment. Board certification in General Surgery and prescriptive authority are required.
