This inpatient psychiatric unit provides structured behavioral health services for adult patients requiring evaluation and ongoing psychiatric treatment. The facility maintains established clinical protocols to support continuity of inpatient psychiatric care. Locum tenens coverage is sought on an immediate and ongoing basis, with expedited credentialing prioritized.

The assignment is located in New York, a state offering a range of regional attractions and year-round activities. Clinicians on assignment will find diverse recreational options and community resources accessible throughout the region.

The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for adult patients, working 40 hours per week during day shifts on-site. The clinician will manage all adult psychiatry cases within an inpatient psychiatric unit, with schedule options of either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days per week. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management for the adult inpatient population. Prior inpatient experience is required for this assignment.
