Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Santa Rosa, California. This position involves providing high-quality perioperative care in an acute care facility. The role requires working primarily during daytime shifts with a focus on orthopedic, urology, general, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, and pain management procedures. Candidates must be adaptable to floating within the hospital and nearby affiliate hospitals.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand, 1 year of OR experience, familiarity with Epic charting system, and specific certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in orthopedic, urology, or general surgery within an acute care environment; experience with interpretive services and unit secretary support is advantageous.
• Additional Information: Travelers should be prepared to work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Must provide 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years. Candidates may be expected to float to sister facilities within the region. All modules related to clinical training are non-billable, averaging 16 hours, and are completed pre-start and annually in the Workramp system.
