Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the ICU based on the specific needs of the patient.
• Administer medications, including titratable drips such as Epi, norepi, and propofol, according to provider orders and protocol.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including intensivists and respiratory therapists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient telemetry and document rhythm strips, ensuring timely communication of changes in patient status to the care team.
• Participate in the orientation and mentoring of new staff and students as part of the unit's commitment to excellence.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including documentation and care delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with clear standing in Wisconsin.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center is preferred.
• Proficient in using Cerner charting systems.
• Strong experience with cardiovascular surgery and high acuity patient care.
• Attention to detail in monitoring and documenting patient care.
