Title: CNC Machinists (1st & 2nd shifts)

Location: Skokie, IL
Shift: 1st (6AM to 2:30PM) & 2nd Shift Available (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) – Multiple Openings
1st Shift: Available for Highly Experienced CNC Machinists
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $28–$34 per hour + $2.00 per hour Shift Differential (2nd Shift)
Top Pay: Up to $37 per hour for highly qualified CNC Machinists

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate a variety of CNC machining centers to manufacture precision components
Perform machine setups, tool changes, and production adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Operate multi-axis CNC equipment while maintaining tight tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
Verify part quality using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
Monitor machining operations and make offsets or adjustments as needed
Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Work independently while consistently meeting production, quality, and safety standards
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve machining processes and efficiency

Qualifications

Must have 2-5+ years of CNC machining experience
Must have strong experience performing complete CNC machine setups
Must have multi-axis machining experience
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds
Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
