Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive schematics, scan tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems such as powertrain, electrical systems and transmissions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- ASE Certification
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Solid mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions and automotive electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation.
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent customer service abilities.
