In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.KBR is seeing a Technical Product Manager to join our team in El Segundo, CA.The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the US Space Force’s Space Systems Center (SSC). We support the Space Force’s acquisition of state-of-the-art satellite communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.**Why Join Us?*** **Innovative Projects:** KBR’s work is at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity solutions.* **Collaborative Environment:** Be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating workplace.* **Impactful Work:** Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense.**Work Environment:*** **Location:** On-site* **Travel Requirements:** Minimal* **Working Hours:** Standard**Qualifications:****Required:*** **Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance*** Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related discipline* 10+ years of experience in product ownership, technical product management, or program/project management delivering software or AI-driven solutions* Proven ability to define product vision, roadmap, and detailed use cases aligned to business and mission objectives* Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), including leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and sprint reviews* Hands-on experience managing backlogs, epics, and user stories using Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence* Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts (AI/ML, APIs, cloud systems) into clear, actionable product requirements* Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating dependencies across engineering, data, and business stakeholders* Strong stakeholder management skills, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and executive-level communication and reporting* Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from ideation through deployment and sustainment* Experience tracking delivery progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of product milestones* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and modern application architectures, including APIs and containerized environments* Proven ability to define success metrics, support testing/validation, and oversee release planning and quality assurance**Desired:*** Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related discipline* Experience working on AI/ML or generative AI products, including exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG-based solutions* Familiarity with integrating AI solutions into enterprise systems, data platforms, and APIs* Experience in defense, government, or other high-security/regulatory environments* Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager* Strong facilitation skills for backlog grooming, prioritization workshops, and stakeholder reviews* Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment environments**Basic Compensation:** $152,000 - $191,000 in CaliforniaThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.**Ready to Make a Difference?** If you’re excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
