Immigration Legal Assistant

Immigration experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn. Bilingual candidates who speak English and Creole are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Docket Wise experience a MUST Perform initial case assessments and assist with case preparation. Maintain complete and organized electronic case files. Keep detailed and accurate case notes in the firm's case management system. Monitor case progress and ensure timely follow-up with clients, attorneys, and government agencies. Review files for completeness and identify missing documents before submission. Assist attorneys with legal research and preparation of filing packages. Communicate professionally with clients and team members. Support the legal team with administrative and case management tasks as needed. We are looking for someone who: Is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented. Non-Negotiable Requirements Available to work in the office Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Strong administrative and computer skills. Comfortable working with multiple software systems and databases. Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain strict confidentiality. Positive, collaborative, and results-oriented.
