Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer and manage respiratory therapies including BiPAP, CPAP, and surfactant administration.
  
  
• 
  Interpret ABG results and assess pulmonary status for accurate treatment adjustments.
  
  
• 
  Perform pulmonary toileting, suctioning, and bedside procedures to maintain airway patency.
  
  
• 
  Assist with high-risk deliveries, umbilical cord gases, and neonatal stabilization.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical activities accurately within the Epic system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 2 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in neonatal and pediatric settings.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT certifications.
  
  
• 
  Proficient in using Draeger and Servo I ventilators.
  
  
• 
  Skilled in ABG interpretation, EKG basics, and ventilator management.
  
  
• 
  Valid GA or Compact RN licensure required.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work floating within facilities and across campuses.
