Controls movement of vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic through work zones using hand signals with a STOP/SLOW Paddle. Reviews, comprehends, and executes temporary traffic control plans and/or standards to ensure work zones are properly installed and maintained./pulliCoordinates and communicates with customers to ensure the safety of all workers./liliSet up, maintain, and remove Advance Warning Signs, Channelizing Devices, and other traffic control devices according to Federal, State, and/or Local Temporary Traffic Control Guidelines and Temporary Traffic Control Plans for simple and intermediate complexity work zones./liliMaintain a Flagger Station by standing and controlling road users through the use of hand signals with a STOP/SLOW Paddle./liliDrive a company vehicle to transport equipment, trailers, and team members to and from work sites safely and in a timely manner. May also pull lightweight trailered equipment./liliEffective radio communication with team members on work site./liliFollow all company safety procedures and practices./liliNotify Supervisor of any potential safety issues or incidents./liliAchieve organizational required training within timeframe established by Project Manager or Facility Manager./liliProvide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to Protector/liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpSafety Sensitive Position/ph3Qualifications/h3pAs a Senior Protector, this role will support and uphold AWPs core values and mission to protect our customers people, businesses, and time.
