Communication is responsible for developing print, video, PC, and web-based communication strategies and media. Works with clients and vendor management to identify specific needs and strategies, as well as internal and external creative services staff. What You'll Do Support the execution of communications plans across a range of external communications initiatives, including media relations, content development, executive communications, and strategic campaigns. Assist with media relations activities, including drafting press materials, monitoring coverage, and maintaining media lists. Collaborate with team members across communications, marketing, and the business to support campaigns and projects. Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of communications initiatives using available metrics and insights. Research industry trends, media activity, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and inform communications efforts. Build knowledge of communications best practices while seeking feedback and guidance to support professional development. Demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective organization, and a collaborative approach to achieving team goals. Leverage AI-powered tools to support content development, media research, reporting, and day-to-day communications activities. Help build, test, and refine AI agents and automated workflows that improve communications processes, efficiency, and insights. Who You Are Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of relevant work experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Experience supporting communications initiatives, including content development, media relations, or internal communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and communications tools; experience with media monitoring or analytics platforms is a plus. Continuous learner who stays current on industry trends and emerging communications practices. Other Qualifications Internship or agency experience is a plus. Experience supporting corporate communications, public relations, or executive communications is a plus. Relevant certifications or additional training in communications, marketing, or digital media are a plus. Work Environment Hiring on East Coast preferable. If you live with 25 miles from a DXC office, its expected to work hybrid mode twice a week. Compensation Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $55,100 - $102,300.
