Staff Force is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a logistics and transportation company in Round Rock, TX.

This is a temporary onsite opportunity supporting the HR department during an employee leave of absence. The ideal candidate will have hands-on HR experience and be comfortable supporting hourly and operational employees in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Round Rock, TX
• Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
• Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week
• Assignment: Up to 3 months
• Work Setting: Onsite
• Start: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and pre-hire requirements.
• Assist with employee relations, performance issues, corrective actions, and documentation.
• Support benefits, 401(k), leaves of absence, and employee communications.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation, workplace injuries, unemployment matters, and related documentation.
• Maintain employee files and HR compliance records.
• Assist with TSA-related compliance, training, credentialing, and documentation.
• Support benefits renewal and open enrollment.
• Assist with HR policies, compliance, reporting, and independent contractor administration.
• Provide general HR administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on HR Generalist experience preferred.
• Experience with employee relations, benefits, leaves of absence, onboarding/offboarding, and HR compliance.
• Experience supporting hourly employees and operational teams preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
• Logistics, transportation, aviation, or a similar industry experience is a plus.
• SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus, but not required.
