Administrative Volunteer Assistant
AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care Waco, Killeen, Groesbeck
Administrative & Communication Support
- Outbound check-in calls to patients/families (quality assurance calls)
- Appointment reminder calls for visits or services
- Answering and routing incoming calls (if appropriate)
- Voicemail monitoring and message logging
- Data entry (patient updates, volunteer logs, visit notes)
- Updating contact lists and directories
Organization & Filing
- Filing patient or administrative paperwork (paper or digital)
- Scanning and organizing documents into electronic systems
- Purging old files according to retention guidelines
- Creating and maintaining organized supply closets
- Labeling binders, files, and storage bins
Flexible Role Options
- Short shifts (1–2 hours)
- Weekly or Monthly project volunteers
- Group opportunities (clubs, students, corporate teams)
- Independent tasks for quieter/introverted volunteers
