About the Role The Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the duties outlined below. Diagnoses equipment failures and provides recommendations for proper repair courses of action. Dismantles equipment to remove and replace defective parts. Adjusts functional parts of equipment and control instruments. Ensures that all equipment complies with OEMs and Regulatory Agencies operating standards, and ensures proper equipment lubrication in compliance with OEMs lubrication schedule. Follows Preventive Maintenance Work Order procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Qualifications Technical school preferred. One year minimum mechanical repair related experience in a heavy industrial setting or equivalent combination of education and experience. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
