Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesPerform engineering calculations and produce engineering drawings as needed on variety of water resources related projectsConduct business development and project delivery for stormwater and resilience projectsPerform field work whenever requiredPerform Hydraulic & Hydrologic modeling as neededAssist in writing reports, presentations, marketing, business development and other related itemsDevelop design of various stormwater management, ecosystem restoration and flood risk reduction components such as detention systems, channels, tide gates, and others using local, state and federal standardsAct as a mentor to junior engineersServe as a Technical Lead, Engineer of Record, Task Manager or Project Manager on variety of water resources projectsRequired Skills & Required ExperienceB.S. Degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related Engineering field), with emphasis in stormwater conveyance, stream restoration, green infrastructure or water resources5 - 8 years related experienceKnowledge/experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS and computer models such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, Infoworks, MIKEKnowledge of USACE, NYSDEC, FEMA, AWWA standards and procedures for designPrior experience with Infoworks and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is preferredProfessional Engineer or ability to obtain Professional Engineering license in 6 months to a yearStrong written and verbal communication skills; and Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe softwareClean driving record and valid driving license requiredDon’t meet every single requirement?
