Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed to be a safe and encouraging environment for both patients and staff. Operating from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, our clinic offers a full range of therapeutic services. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, all dedicated to fostering optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical function and determine specific therapy needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and other modalities to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on outcomes and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention and self-management strategies to promote long-term health and recovery.
• Foster a collaborative and positive clinic culture by actively participating in team meetings and contributing to a learning-focused environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions, including sports injuries and postoperative rehabilitation. Your efforts will help individuals of all ages regain the mobility and confidence needed to live pain-free. You will be instrumental in crafting personalized treatment strategies, recognizing each patient's unique circumstances and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate or Master's degree preferred from an accredited institution.
• Current or eligible Nevada Physical Therapist license.
• Demonstrable interest or experience in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and time management skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is preferred, or an interest in obtaining this credential.
• Experience in manual therapy techniques or dry needling is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

True North Medical Institute offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
