Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist with our team, you will work directly in patients' homes, fostering an environment that emphasizes comfort and personalized care. Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Patient Assessments: Perform in-depth evaluations of patients' physical health, mobility levels, and functional limitations to create personalized therapy plans.
• Treatment Planning and Implementation: Design and execute tailored therapy strategies, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, to help patients achieve their recovery goals and restore their daily activities.
• Patient Education and Support: Offer guidance and support to patients and their families about exercises, precautions, and lifestyle changes, ensuring they are active participants in their own recovery journey.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physicians, to provide integrated care plans that address the full spectrum of patient needs.
• Documentation and Follow-Up: Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) for each patient's progress, documenting treatment interventions and outcomes to inform future care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Patients will vary in age and physical ability, allowing you the opportunity to apply diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's unique scenario. Building rapport and trust with patients will be paramount, as emotional support plays a significant role in their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university, with preference given to candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate in the field.
• Current active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada, with a strong understanding of state regulations and rehabilitation best practices.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably within an orthopedic setting.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and modalities commonly utilized in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT, will be viewed favorably.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a home care environment, particularly with orthopedic patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and skill level. Alongside financial compensation, our benefits package includes:
