Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in a home care setting, providing personalized services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, further ensuring a tailored approach to rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, using standardized assessment tools to determine their specific needs and goals.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices to promote recovery and independence.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Provide education to patients and their families on movement mechanics, home exercise programs, and prevention strategies to minimize the risk of re-injury.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Engage in collaborative relationships with orthopedic physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in orthopedic physical therapy through continuous education and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from surgical procedures or sports injuries. Understanding the unique needs of each patient will be crucial in developing effective treatment plans aimed at enhancing functional outcomes and overall quality of life. You will play a vital role in guiding these individuals through their rehabilitation journeys, helping them regain their strength and confidence.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• A proactive approach to developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Genuine passion for facilitating meaningful recovery experiences for patients.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably within an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Compensation and Benefits
