Work Environment

Your work will primarily take place onsite in the homes of our patients, making home care a vital component of our service model. ProFlex offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your personal commitments while allowing you to impact patients' lives positively. You will be engaging directly with patients during their therapy sessions, where you'll utilize advanced techniques in a comfortable and familiar setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and sports-related injuries.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the specific functional goals and recovery needs of each patient.
• Utilize various therapeutic methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients regarding proper movement mechanics, personalized home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention.
• Collaborate effectively with orthopedic surgeons and medical staff to ensure a seamless continuum of care for our patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to track patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest practices and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those dealing with ongoing sports injuries, and individuals requiring rehabilitative care for musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with a diverse clientele, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship that encourages recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with patients.
• The ability to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to patient-specific needs.
• A genuine passion for aiding patients in their recovery journey and promoting their overall well-being.
• Competence in working independently as well as collaboratively with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, providing you with a solid foundation for this role.

• A track record of successful patient outcomes through physical therapy interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
