Work Environment

The outpatient orthopedic clinic is a collaborative and engaging work setting where you'll work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Here, you will primarily treat clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. Our facility promotes a patient-centered approach and encourages teamwork and open communication among staff, enabling effective treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, targeting the restoration of movement, strength, and functional mobility.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities—including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation—to enhance patient recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, fitness, and long-term health maintenance through lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the clinic's continuous improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. You will work with diverse individuals who have varying levels of physical ability and recovery goals, emphasizing personalized care and tailored support to maximize their rehabilitation journey. Our objective is to empower each patient, fostering their independence and encouraging active participation in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required, with a Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Nevada or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills to tailor treatment plans effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
• A passion for enhancing patient mobility and independence through comprehensive, compassionate care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Prior experience with orthopedic patients and a strong background in manual therapy techniques will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 95,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
