Position Overview

Movement State Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Physical Therapist to join our innovative team in Henderson, Nevada. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional in-home rehabilitation services, enabling patients to recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions in the comfort of their own surroundings.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite , focusing on home care settings where our dedicated therapists visit patients at their homes. This arrangement allows us to assess and treat patients in their natural environment, resulting in more effective rehabilitation. Our team is comprised of experienced physical therapists who work collaboratively to provide a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, including mobility, strength, and flexibility, to create tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Develop and execute individualized therapy programs that cater to specific recovery goals, utilizing various therapeutic modalities and hands-on treatment techniques.
• Provide patient education to enhance understanding of their conditions and empower them to participate actively in their recovery process.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring continuity of care and treatment adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your hands-on approach will play a critical role in helping them regain strength and mobility, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedics or home health care.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• A strong working knowledge of EMR systems, with proficiency in WebPT being a significant advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with alternative therapeutic methods that can be incorporated into traditional physical therapy approaches.
• Experience working in a home care setting, emphasizing adaptive solutions for patients in varying environments.
• A background in sports medicine or rehabilitation is a plus, especially relating to active patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

Our salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
