Flex and Flow of Motion Therapeutics is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Senior Physical Therapist. In this role, you will be a vital member of our rehabilitation team, serving as a trusted ally for patients on their journey to restore mobility and enhance their quality of life. You will work closely with individuals to address mobility-related challenges, design effective treatment plans, and support them in achieving their optimal performance.

Work Environment

This position is conducted onsite within our fully equipped rehabilitation facility. You will join a collaborative and supportive team of healthcare professionals who prioritize patient well-being above all else. The facility boasts a welcoming atmosphere with modern equipment and innovative therapeutic tools that enhance treatment outcomes. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop customized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a patient caseload while providing individualized sessions, ensuring a dedicated focus on one patient per hour.
• Implement various therapy techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation success.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, providing clear instructions for home exercises to ensure continued progress.
• Foster a positive, encouraging environment to motivate patients, ultimately enhancing their functionality and independence.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers, ensuring an integrated and holistic approach to health care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions and patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is on a diverse patient population comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, and sports-related injuries. We advocate for a proactive approach in treating our patients, emphasizing prevention and functional improvement. As a senior physical therapist, you will play a significant role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation process and empowering them to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no prior board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Experience using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain patient records and manage treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
• Experience in developing comprehensive fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
